Íarnród Éireann says cameras will be installed at level crossings in Farranfore and Minish in the coming months.
The automatic cameras will take images of motorists who fail to stop at flashing red lights on the level crossings.
Offenders will receive an €80 fine and two penalty points.
Motorists who try to drive though level crossings will be fined €160 and given three penalty points.
Last year, nationally, there were 22 collisions with gates at level crossings.
In 2025, Irish Rail trialled camera usage in this county.
