The Humanity Ball in Tralee on New Year’s Eve raised €250,000 for three charities.
The ball was held in the Ballygarry Estate Hotel and Spa on New Year’s Eve, and was spearheaded by Stephen Stack and Seán Ryan among others.
It aimed to raise €150,000, but surpassed this to raise a quarter of a million euro from this event alone.
The beneficiaries are the Kerry Hospice Foundation, the Tír nan Óg Children’s Foundation which was established by Louise Quill to transform children’s lives in Tanzania, and the One for Humanity charity founded by Shane Leahy which provides medical supplies in crisis zones.
Stephen Stack says it was a brilliant occasion.
Stephen Stack said it was a team effort that made the ball such a success.
