The HSE says its CEO Anne O’Connor is aware of a number of issues that have arisen in its south west division.
The Irish Times reported recently that the HSE has brought in former Labour Court chairman Kevin Foley to engage with senior management in the health service in the south and south west.
The decision was taken after concerns were raised about operational issues in the south and south-west region.
The HSE says there’s a process underway to support resolution and it would not be appropriate to comment.
Last month, it was reported that employment controls and greater scrutiny on spending will be introduced for HSE South West and two other regions.
