The HSE has confirmed that one GP has been appointed to Ballyduff and its surrounding areas.
The GP service is set to commence in the North Kerry village on July 4th.
It was hoped that more than one GP would be recruited in the area.

The HSE has been running an interim GP service in Ballyduff since September.
