Gardaí warn of increase in counterfeit notes in Kerry

Gardaí are warning people in Kerry to be on the lookout for counterfeit notes.

There’s been an increase in forged money circulating, with businesses in the county detecting fake €50 and €20 notes, particularly in Tralee.

Members of the public and staff in businesses are urged to be vigilant and check notes, and to inform Gardaí if counterfeit ones are detected.
