Gardaí say file will be prepared for coroner following drowning incident in Killarney

Gardaí say a file will be prepared for the coroner following the death of a man in Killarney yesterday.

Emergency services were alerted to an incident at 3.30pm, where a man in his 20s got into difficulty in the water at the River Flesk.

The man was removed from the water and was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardaí say a post-mortem examination will take place in due course and investigations are ongoing.
