Gardaí in Killarney are appealing for information following a serious assault in the town centre during race week last summer.
The incident happened in College Square between approximately 2:25 and 2:35 in the morning on the 16th of July 2025.
CCTV footage shows two men, who had been socialising in the town throughout the day, and were first seen earlier on Main Street.
The first man is believed to be in his late 20s to early 30s, with curly hair, wearing a blue shirt and black jeans.
The second is believed to be in his late 30s to early 40s, with a receding hairline, wearing a blazer, a light shirt, jeans and a silver watch.
Footage later captures the pair in College Square, where they are seen speaking before one of the men approaches the victims and pushes one of them backwards.
He then begins to punch and kick the man, before the second suspect removes his shirt and joins the assault.
Both victims are knocked to the ground, where they are repeatedly punched and kicked.
The two men then leave the scene, walking up College Street and turning into a nearby laneway.
Both victims were taken to hospital following the attack.
One sustained a fractured eye socket, along with head injuries and multiple abrasions.
Gardaí say the victims were left badly injured and shaken, and they do not believe the suspects are local.
Anyone who was in the College Square area between 2:25 and 2:35 on the morning of the 16 July 2025, or who may have seen or spoken to the suspects, is asked to contact Gardaí.
