Gardaí called to youth disco after teenager claimed to have a knife

Gardaí were called to a youth disco in Killorglin, after teenager a claimed to have a knife.

The alarm was raised by security at the event on Monday night, when attendees reported the teenager's claim.

Gardaí arrived at the St.Valentine’s Eve disco at around 10.40pm.

They say no evidence of a weapon was found and no offences were reported from the event.
