Listowel Gardaí are currently assisting Valentia Coast Guard following an incident on the Tarbert to Killimer Ferry.
Witness reports say a man has gone overboard, and the ferry is currently stopped mid estuary while searches continue.
The incident took place around 10 o'clock this morning.

Ballybunion Sea and Cliff Rescue have their Atlantic 75 and D class on the scene in the multiagency effort.
It's expected there will be considerable delays to the ferry services for the foreseeable future.
