Gardaí in Killarney are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in the town in the early hours of this morning.
The incident took place around 3am at the College Square side of the Glebe car park.
The person is said to be in a serious but not critical condition.

Anyone who witnessed the assault or has dash cam footage of the area between 3 and 4am is asked to contact Killarney Garda Station at 064 667 1160.
Gardaí are appealing in particular to taxi drivers as the area is frequently used as a drop off and collection point for many on nights out.
