The N72 near Barraduff remains closed this lunchtime following a fatal collision this morning.
A man in his 20s was killed when the car he was driving was involved in a single vehicle incident shortly after 2am.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at Calfmount near Killarney.

Gardaí are appealing for road users, who were travelling on the road around that time to come forward.
The N72 road remains closed from Lissivigeen roundabout to Barraduff .
Diversions are in place via the R570 Barraduff to Glenflesk road.
