Gardaí in Kerry are appealing for information on a number of suspected investment fraud cases.
Gardaí believe that several of cases have taken place in recent days.
Members of the public being have reported being contacted by text message, with the sender falsely claiming to be an overseas family member seeking cash to fund an investment.

A courier has then been dispatched to collect the money from the victim.
The investment scheme has been confirmed to be a case of fraud and deception.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who has been approached in this manner to come forward.
