Gardaí in Killarney are appealing for information after 120 sheep appear to have been stolen over the past four months.
A sheep farmer at Knocknagowen, Clonkeen began noticing several sheep had gone missing in May.
By this month, 120 sheep could not be found.
It’s not possible to calculate an exact timeline because the sheep roam a vast area meaning keeping track of precise figures is nearly impossible.
Gardaí say the large number of missing sheep suggests the animals are being stolen, as the amount is too many to have simply disappeared.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Killarney Garda Station on 064 667 1160.
