The funerals are taking place this morning of two Kerry men who died in separate incidents in recent days.
72-year-old Jeremiah Downing from Sneem was found dead on his farm on Friday (02/01/2026), having been missing since New Year’s Eve.
His requiem mass takes place in St. Michael's Church, Sneem this morning at ten o’clock.

While, at half-past-eleven (11.30am), the funeral of a 37-year-old father-of-two from Rathmore takes place at St. Joseph's Church.
