The funeral mass for the young man who died after getting into difficulty while swimming in Fenit will take place later this morning.
Tributes have been pouring in for 18 year old Luke Silles, a 6th year student of CBS The Green in Tralee.
Ballymacelligott GAA, described Luke as "sporting, witty, smart and roguish", while his Irish teacher Fionnán Fitzgerald said Luke brought light into other people's lives.

The funeral mass for Luke Silles will take place at 11am this morning in St Brendan's Church Clogher, followed by interment afterwards in New Rath Cemetary.
Luke's family have asked for donations in lieu of flowers to the Fenit RNLI.
