A new bursary is being launched to support the production of short films in Kerry and across Munster.
The Deascéal initiative aims to support regional filmmakers in developing, producing and promoting their work.
The initiative is funded by several local authorities, including Kerry County Council.

Film Officer for Screen Kerry, Seán Mulchinock, is among those presenting the scheme.
The official launch is being held in the Millennium Hall in Cork City this evening and applications for funding will open on the 12th of April.
