Freezing temperatures and rain will hit Kerry overnight and tomorrow as two status yellow weather warnings have been issued for the county.
Freezing temperatures are expected tonight, while heavy rain is expected tomorrow.
The national forecaster is warning that both warnings could result in difficult travelling conditions.
A status yellow low temperature and ice warning is in place for Kerry from 9 o’clock tonight until 10am tomorrow.
Met Éireann says temperatures will fall between -1 and -3 degrees with sharp frost and icy conditions expected.
It’s expected that Kerry County Council will salt routes on its priority list.
