A former Rose of Tralee and former host of the Rose of Tralee show have announced their engagement.
Ryan Tubridy revealed he popped the question to long-time girlfriend Dr Clare Kambamettu.
The broadcaster says the couple got engaged during a trip to the West of Ireland last week.

Dr Kambamettu, who is a clinical psychologist, was crowned as the Rose of Tralee in 2010.
Mr Tubridy says he's 'very very happy' as he confirmed the news to his radio listeners.

The pair first made their relationship public in 2023, when they attended the Irish Post Awards in London.
