Former President Michael D Higgins will address a conference in Kerry next week.
It’s being reported he will address the annual congress of the INTO, the Irish National Teachers’ Organisation.
The INTO is the largest primary school teachers’ union in Ireland.

Mr Higgins’ second term as Uachtaráin na hÉireann concluded late last year.
The 158th INTO Annual Congress will be held in the Gleneagle Arena, Killarney from Monday, 6 April to Wednesday, the eighth.
