A former patient of North Kerry CAMHS believes phase three and four reviews of the service will be required.
Davin Godfrey was reacting to the long-awaited report into North Kerry Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, which was released last week.
It found 56% of over 370 children in the care of the service were at risk of potential harm from their treatment.
Davin Godfrey met with HSE CEO Bernard Gloster following the reports’ release, who gave commitments to young people treated at CAMHS.
Mr Godfrey says a further review is underway but believes it needs to be extended to before 2010.
