The replacement of Michael Healy-Rae as the Minister of State with Responsibility for Forestry is taking far too long.
That's according to the chairman of the IFA farm forestry committee, Pádraig Stapleton.
He was responding to comments by the Taoiseach and the Minister for Agriculture yesterday promising to appoint a new junior minister for forestry.
Independent TD for Kerry Micheal Healy-Rae resigned from government in April due to its response to the fuel protests.
