Kerry community sector workers have announced plans for a large-scale public meeting in Tralee.
The event invites local organisations, staff, and service users to share their thoughts on key issues such as funding uncertainties and job insecurity.
The SIPTU-supported campaign Together, We Are Community says it has been many years since this kind of gathering has been held in Kerry.
Event organisers have said that the community sector is under immense pressure, and this is their opportunity to call for action.
The meeting takes place in the Brandon Hotel on next Thursday October 2nd from 7pm and is the first of a series of events to be held nationwide.
