First Communions and Confirmations in the diocese of Kerry, are likely to go ahead after Easter - but there's no date yet for when christenings can take place.
Bishop of Kerry Ray Browne says the plan at the moment is to begin to hold some sacraments from mid April - but he stresses that the situation could change.
Last year, Confirmations and First Communions in the diocese had to be deferred because of the pandemic, and eventually went ahead in the summer.
Something similar may happen this year, and it's also possible that smaller, more scaled-down ceremonies will have to take place.
Bishop Browne appealed to parents to be patient, as they wait for definite dates to be set - and to pray with their children in the meantime:
