Actress Fiona Shaw has been named as the recipient of the Kerry International Film Festival 2025 Maureen O’Hara Award.
Established in 2008, the Maureen O’Hara Award celebrates women who have excelled in film, television, and/or media.
The Kerry International Film Festival says Fiona Shaw is regarded as one of Ireland's greatest actors.
She made her feature film debut in Jim Sheridan's My Left Foot and went on the play Petunia Dursley in the Harry Potter film series; she’s also known for her work in television which included Killing Eve and Fleabag.
The 26th edition of the Kerry International Film Festival will run from October 16th to 19th.
