Fine Gael has selected a candidate to contest the Kenmare Municipal District in next year's local election.
Tony Donnelly from Waterville sought nomination and was selected at the party’s convention last Friday night.
Last week, Councillor Patrick O’Connor-Scarteen announced he won’t be contesting the next local election; he says he wants to spend more time with his family and focus on his career.
