Farmers who need help with the clean up as a result of Storm Eowyn can now apply for funding.
That’s according to Kerry Fianna Fáil TD, Michael Cahill who raised the issue in the Dáil last month.
The Minister for Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and the Marine Martin Heydon says the funding is currently available under the Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme (TAMS) scheme.
The payment focuses on specific items such as: backup PTO generators; sheep, cattle and horse fencing; wood/biomass chippers; and mulchers.
The scheme is will close on Friday March 28th.
