Family of mother and son confident laws will be changed to help prevent future familicides

The solicitor representing the family of Eileen and Jamie O'Sullivan read a statement after the inquest into their deaths in Listowel Courthouse today.

John Cashell said he was making the statement on behalf of Eileen's sisters Mary and Margaret.

John Cashell said the family of Eileen and Jamie O'Sullivan met with the Government earlier this month.

He said they're confident there will be changes in the law which will help prevent future familicides.
