Arson and criminal damage incidents in Kerry have dropped over twelve months.
That’s according to the CSO’s crime data report for the first quarter of the year.
Kerry Garda Division recorded an over 44% reduction in arson offence at the end of March, with 5, down from 9 on the previous year.
68 incidents of criminal damage (not arson) were recorded in the first quarter of the year, an almost 13% drop (down from 78).
There was an 18% decrease on damage to property and the environment crimes in Kerry, with 73 recorded, down from 89.
