There are calls for transport providers to put on extra trains and flights to accommodate fans travelling to see Kerry take on Dublin in Sunday week's All-Ireland semi-final.

Kerry will face Dublin in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Semi-Final in Croke Park at 4pm on Sunday, July 12th.

Independent TD Michael Healy-Rae and Fianna Fáil TD Michael Cahill made the call.

Both deputies and their teams are asking transport providers to act immediately to ensure supporters can travel to and from the game, and to put plans in place before demand peaks.

They are calling on Irish Rail and Ryanair to examine every possible option to provide additional capacity, including late services down to Kerry on the Sunday night.
