The number of electric vehicle grants in Kerry increased by 107% last year.
That’s according to figures provided by Transport Minister Darragh O’Brien.
In 2025, 426 EV grants were awarded in Kerry, compared to 205 grants in 2024.
So far this year, 112 grants have been awarded in the county.
Nationally, over 18,600 (18,651) EV grants were given by the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment last year, compared to just over 12,300 (12,303) in 2024.
The figures were provided in response to a question from Sinn Féin TD Pa Daly.
