Gardaí are investigating bogus tradesmen who scammed an elderly woman out of a large sum of money.
The incident took place on Thursday, 30th October in the Knockmoyle area of Tralee between 10am and 2pm.
The men were driving a white Peugeot Partner van and conned the woman into handing over money for works that they never carried out.
Garda Mary Gardiner is appealing to the public if they were in the area at the time or if bogus tradesmen called to their home to contact Tralee Garda station.
Garda Mary Gardiner says if the public is unsure of a tradesman, then can ask them to write their details on cards displaying the Garda crest.
