A very elderly lady living alone in Tralee allegedly had cash stolen by bogus tradesmen.
Gardaí are warning people to be aware of bogus tradesmen in the Tralee area, after men called to the house of an elderly lady living alone in Killerisk, offering to do work on the property.
She refused their offer, but the men did the work anyway, and when they had finished they asked her to look around the back of the house to check out the job they’d done.

As the woman looked around the back of the house, the men allegedly took a sum of cash from a windowsill by the front door.
