€50,000 in funding has been allocated to a project that will light up Killorglin’s bridge in a variety of colours.
Killorglin Chamber Alliance says the new lighting will be used for celebrating occasions such as Christmas, St Patrick’s Day, sporting events, and international festivals.
They’ll be able to change the colour of the lights underneath the Laune Bridge, to reflect the occasion.
