A further €25,000 will be allocated to a fund to improve inclusive sports projects in the county.
Minister for Children, Disability, Equality and Kerry T.D Norma Foley has confirmed the additional funding from the Dormant Accounts Fund .
The Kerry Recreation and Sports Partnership has already received €284,000 this year as part of a national funding package.
The partnership is an organisation dedicated to increasing participation in sport and physical activity in the county, focusing on under served populations.
This includes female sports and activities involving the elderly and people with disabilities.
The funding has been welcomed by Kerry TD Michael Cahill.
