15 million euro is being spent on an upgrade of Shannon Airport's terminal.
It's part of a 40 million euro investment drive for the airport in 2026, aimed at enhancing passenger facilities.
The works include a replacement of the 1970s section of the building with a curved façade aimed at improving energy performance.

There will also be heating and air conditioning upgrades while toilets, immigration and baggage halls will also be improved.
