A Dublin man has admitted to the possession of stolen guns and ammunition in Kerry last year.
20-year-old Gerry Wall, of Greenhills Grove, Tallaght, entered guilty pleas to four counts on arraignment at Tralee Circuit Court.
Mr Wall and his co-accused are both due to be sentenced on 6th March.
Gerry Wall pleaded guilty to four charges at Tralee Circuit Court.
These are the possession of a knife, possession of an unauthorised rifle, and possession of 380 rounds of unauthorised ammunition.
The fourth charge is that the firearms, ammo, and butterfly knife in his possession were all stolen property.
All charges are from the 20th January last year at the John Cronin Roundabout at Ballymacthomas outside Tralee.
Judge Ronan Munro told Mr Wall that this was noted as an early guilty plea, which he will benefit from when it comes to sentencing.
Judge Munro said it will count in mitigation that he pleaded early and not at the last minute like some defendants, which he can never understand.
He was remanded on continuing bail.
His co-accused, 20-year-old Brendan Casey of Lealand Avenue, Clondalkin, is due before the court on Friday, but both are due to appear for sentencing on 6th March.
