Gardaí have caught a young driver on a cocktail of drugs and in the possession of a fake driving licence in Kerry.
Members of the Kerry Roads Policing Unit stopped a vehicle in Killarney yesterday.
When this vehicle was stopped by the Kerry Roads Policing Unit, Gardaí say the driver, a man aged in his 20s, gave a false name.
The driver was also found to be in possession of a fraudulent driving licence, as well as two fraudulent public service cards.
Gardaí say a sample of blood was taken from the man.
The results detected that cannabis, benzodiazepines and amphethamine were all present in the driver’s blood at the time he was driving.
Gardaí say the man has been released without charge pending further investigation.
