Dredging will begin in Fenit Harbour next month.
Chief Executive of Kerry County Council, Moira Murrell, revealed at a recent meeting that dredging will begin on April 5th.
The council was waiting on a Foreshore Licence from the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government, which has now been issued.

A contractor has been secured and the works are expected to take three weeks.
