Diversions remain in place following two fatal road traffic incidents on Kerry roads

Diversions remain in place following two fatal road traffic incidents on Kerry roads over the past 24 hours.

Following an incident at Listry last evening, which resulted in a motorcyclist losing his life, gardaí closed the road between Listry bridge and Faha.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and, if travelling from Killarney to Dingle, do not turn off at the Golden Nugget.

Elsewhere, Ross Road in Killarney remains closed, after a 14-year-old boy was killed in a road traffic incident during the early hours of this morning.

The passenger, a teenage boy, was taken to hospital following the crash.

The family of the deceased boy are appealing for privacy at this time.
