Disposable income in Kerry is 9% below the national average.
That’s according to the CSO’s incomes and GDP report for 2024.
It shows the average disposable income per person in the year was just over €30,000 (€30,139).
In Kerry, this stood at more than €27,400 (€27,422), a 5% increase on the previous year (when €25,967).
Dublin had the highest disposable income (at just under €33,889), while Longford had the lowest (€23,725).
The figures show Kerry accounted for almost 3% (2.9%) of all persons employed in the state.
