Businesses and community groups in Dingle have put together a packed calendar of events this Christmas and New Year's period to attract people to the area.
Community organiser Richie Williams says they decided to offer a full programme because two weekends fall during the holidays.
These events are on top of a range of Christmas Day swims around the Dingle peninsula and the world famous Lá an Dreoilín on St Stephen's Day.

Saturday, 27th December: Dúchas an Daingin Historical Walk (Starting at 11am at St. Mary’s Church)
Sunday, 28th December: Garfinny Loop Walk (Weather permitting, ca. two hours)
Monday, 29th December: Historical walk at Dingle Famine Graveyard (Located about a mile from the Dingle Mart car park, with views of the town)
Tuesday, 30th December: Car treasure hunt (10-11am, suitable for families, starting at the playground, lasts about 1-1.5 hours)
Wednesday, 31st December: Fireworks display at the pier (8pm, 20 minutes long, open to all
Thursday, 1st January: 5k Walk for Peace starting (Midday, from the pier, around Sleen Island)
Tuesday, 6th January (Nollaig na mBan/Women’s Christmas): The Dingle Fife and Drum Band tours the town (Ca. 5pm, celebration of the women of the area)
