Options are being explored for the creation of outdoor activity facilities in Listowel.
The information was provided in response to a motion from Fine Gael councillor Aoife Kennelly, at the recent Listowel MD meeting.
She asked for an update on the provision of a skate park and outdoor basketball court in the town.

Consultant architecture firm, Ailtirí, was appointed to prepare an area masterplan for the Listowel Activity Hub in October 2024.
Kerry County Council says design work is ongoing for the facilities, adding proposals will be presented to councillors during the first quarter of this year.
