A decision to grant permission for a pharmacy in Listowel has been appealed.
Last month, Kerry County Council granted permission, subject to five conditions, to Greenville Pharmacy Care Limited to change the use of a medical suite to a pharmacy at Curraghatoosane on Convent Road.
Objectors raised concerns about the impact of the location of the pharmacy on the vitality of the town centre and on existing pharmacies in the town centre.

Listowel Pharmacists' Group have appealed the council's decision to An Bord Pleanála; a decision is due by September 6th.
