The Killarney Brewing and Distilling Company, which went into liquidation earlier this week, is reported to have debts of more than €8m euro.
The information on its debts is included in an independent experts report which was filed as part of a High Court petition in April.
The Irish Examiner is reporting that Kerry County Council and the Revenue Commissioners are among the creditors.
Killarney Brewing and Distilling Company confirmed the unsuccessful conclusion of it's examinership process on Tuesday with the loss of more than 50 jobs.
In its statement it cited high tariffs on Irish whiskey exports to the US and economic uncertainty as among the challenges which led to the closure.
