A south Kerry cruise operator says the reopening of Skellig Michael/Sceilig Mhichíl today is a big boost for the region.
The island was closed for the past three weeks following a rockfall.
The Office of Public Works had planned to reopening it on Saturday following works, however poor weather forced a delay.
