Crochet makers in the county have raised nearly five thousand euro and made over 70 blankets for Kerry Cancer Support Group.
The charity provides transport to and from Cork University Hospital for patients receiving treatment.
The crafters involved in the Square to Share campaign also covered the Kerry Cancer Support bus in crocheted squares.
The bus was displayed in all its crocheted finery at last weekend’s Féile na mBláth in Tralee.
The Square to Share campaign was an initiative by Kaya Flynn and involved the Milltown Knit, Knatter and Crochet group.
All the blankets will be gifted to users of the Healthlink Transport service.
