The crime re-offending rate in Kerry last year was above the national average.
That’s according to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office.
It shows over 4,400 (4,433) incidents were detected on the Garda pulse system in Kerry in 2024.

Of these 63% (2,773) were linked to a suspected offender who had at least one previous detection.
Nationally, 61% of crimes were linked to re-offenders; while theft incidents accounted for the highest suspect re-offences.
