Valentia Coast Guard and rescue helicopter 115 were on the scene at Binn Bán beach near Dingle Lighthouse earlier this afternoon after a French fishing boat got into difficulty off the coast.
The fishing vessel went aground leaving Dingle, with 14 persons on board.
Rescue helicopter 115 winched the 14 people ashore. Valentia Coast Guard's fixed wing plane was also at the scene.

The Dingle Coast Guard and Valentia Life Boat volunteers provided assistance, and the naval vessel the George Bernard Shaw was ready to provide assistance from Bantry.
The 14 person crew were offered hot drinks and accommodation.
Of the 14, five has very minor injuries and have been taken to University Hospital Kerry for assessment and treatment.
The vessel is still on the rocks, and it is hoped that it will be towed back to shore tomorrow, depending on the weather.
Valentia Coast Guard has expressed their gratitude to the volunteers who assisted in the rescue, particularly members of Dingle Coast Guard and Valentia RNLI, who secured the landing strip for Rescue 115 to safely bring the 14 person crew ashore.
