The creator of Young Offenders is shooting a feature film in Kerry.
Filmmaker Peter Foott will shoot the feature film which is called Mary Man, and is based on real-life events.
It tells the story of a Kerry woman outcast from Irish society who has an incredible singing voice; she challenges perceptions and brings joy to her local community when she competes in a singing competition.

Producers have issued a casting call for singers, aged over 18, in lead, secondary and background roles; filming will take place later this year.
