Councillors to write to National Transport Authority requesting critical bus stop infrastructure on Dingle peninsula

Kerry County Council will write to the NTA to request adequate infrastructure for bus routes around the Dingle peninsula.

It follows a motion from Sinn Féin councillor Robert Brosnan at the recent Castleisland-Corca Dhuibhne Municipal District meeting.

He says critical infrastructure like bus stop poles need to be installed in the area.

Cllr Brosnan added that the schedules for various local link routes need to be visible on these poles for passengers.

The motion was seconded by Fianna Fáil councillor, Breandán Fitzgerald.
